Our team of Volunteers are the momentum behind every meal we share, bringing our vision of healthy, nourishing food to life.
Every Friday, they help load fresh, local produce into refrigerated vans and set up welcoming ‘market stalls’ at local primary schools and community centres.
But their role goes far beyond handing out bags of food – they introduce families to the benefits of fresh, great-tasting ingredients in a warm and approachable way, share simple recipe tips, and spark children’s excitement about eating well. By engaging parents in conversations about healthy, freshly grown food and offering an extra piece of fruit for the journey home, volunteers turn every food collection into an opportunity for education, inspiration, and lasting positive change.

Volunteers
Our team of volunteers bring our charity’s aim to life — turning fresh, locally grown produce into moments of connection, learning and joy each week. From loading vans and setting up welcoming stalls to sharing simple recipe ideas and inspiring children to try something new, they bring energy, warmth and heart to every Friday.
We’re always delighted to welcome new volunteers, whether you can help regularly or from time to time. If you’d like to get involved, please follow the link below for more details and contact information.
