Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 220ºC/200ºC fan/gas mark 7.
- Put 1 tbsp oil in a roasting tin & heat in the oven for 1 minute. Add the sausages and cook for 15 mins.
- Meanwhile make the batter mix by adding the salt into the flour and whisking together to break up any lumps (hand whisk is fine). Make a well in the centre of the flour & add the eggs. Whisk gently, slowly pouring in the milk, until you have a smooth batter mix.
- Once the sausages are nice and brown, take them out of the oven and pour the batter mix over.
- Return to the oven and cook for 25-30 mins until the batter has risen and is gold in colour.
- Serve with gravy and some veg of your choice.
