Hummus in 5!


Gather the ingredients together and either:

  • Blend together in a food processor until smooth and creamy.
  • Put in a jug and blitz with a stick blender.


  • Place in a bowl and mash with a potato masher or fork.

Great as a dip with pitta bread, tortilla chips, crackers or raw veg. But can also be used as a spread on sandwiches, wraps, falafel or burgers.


  • 1 can chickpeas
  • 4 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • good pinch of salt
